A Glimpse of Summer

The last week has been glorious weather and perfect for being out and about with an ice-cream or two - even for those little people:

Paddling

Having had our usual jellybabies swim on Friday morning, the threat of thunderstorms seemed very unlikely as we walked home. So, the new paddling pool came out for the Friday afternoon gathering along with the beach tent (still no sand). Homemade lemonade, plus a feast of yummy food for the mummies. The babies did try a strawberry or two. Two of the babies are on holiday so we look forward to seeing them both again very soon.

We are having Summer weather at the moment and it is so nice to be able to go out in the day and enjoy it. After a spell at the park with two of the other mummies, we came home and in the absence of a paddling pool, we used the garden trug which seemed to have the fun effect.
