We are now home having clocked up a fair few hundred miles on our 'road trips' over these holidays. We spent Christmas at my mum's in Somerset together with James and Kaye and of course Russet - Isobel's new friend who was very helpful in cleaning up under the highchair. 
Isobel got the hang of pulling out little parcels from her stocking, but fell asleep for the main present opening. Of course she received far too many things - but all of them lovely!
Boxing Day we did the long drive from Somerset to North Wales where we celebrated Richard's parent's 40th wedding anniversary on the 27th. Isobel was given a very special dress from Auntie Heledd and she did look very sweet:
We made sure we had time for a walk on the beach before heading home for a day -
Then, New Year's Eve we headed for Winchester where we caught up with Jane (fairy godmother) Ben, Liz and Pete - we had a great evening and it was wonderful to catch up with them - and see James and Kaye again!
