Petersham

This weekend Leonie came to stay Saturday night and then spent the day with us on Sunday. Saturday evening we enjoyed a lurvely fish pie courtesy of Jamie Oliver's Recipease in Clapham. On Sunday we made our way to the Petersham nurseries and saw some stunning tulips.
Despite some of the prices being utterly ridiculous, I like the atmosphere there and we had a bite to eat amongst the rustic garden furniture.
Some lovely plants which made me itch to start making inroads into our garden 'space'. After a final walk around the nursery we walked towards Richmond across the fields then took a turn back by the river and ended up at Ham House. It was so lovely and sunny so we decided to go in and enjoyed an elderflower sorbet - Mmmmmmm.

On the way back to the car Isobel saw her first horse. The kick of her legs implied the seal of approval - I think she enjoyed her day and was as good as gold in the car.
