Isobel has enjoyed having Richard at home in the mornings this week (before he embarks on his cruise!) I've taken advantage of this and taken to going swimming at 7am - even tried the gym this morning which is a first in about 14 months. Felt exhausted! We have been doing some 'free' outings this week. Took Isobel to the library for the first time yesterday with the other mummies for baby rhyme time - we sang the likes of Row row your Boat, Wheels on the Bus go round and round etc - lasted 30 minutes and pretty chaotic with about 50 mums and babies/toddlers - but the babes seemed to enjoy it. Isobel applied for her library card so we will take another visit and see what books she might like.
Today we visited the
Horniman Museum and took the babies to the Aquarium which they seemed to love - suppose it is similar to watching TV! It turned out to be a lovely sunny day so we were even able to sit on the grass - let's hope the sun stays with us for a bit.
